Topping on Chelsea’s wish list is the Real Madrid star Gonzalo Higuain. The London club wants to buy him in the place of Didier Drogba. It seems that Real Madrid will be interested to sell Higuain as Real coach Jose Mourinho wants Sergio Aguero in his team for the next La Liga season. Therefore, it is quite possible to see Higuain for the London club.

Sources say that Higuain is on the top of Chelsea’s list as he is a brilliant goal scorer as well as for Argentina and he also helps in creating goal scoring moves. The club believes that he is a kind of player who would flourish in the Premier League. This season, Gonzalo Higuain scored twenty-five goals in fifty-one games and helped in 8 goals.

Few other players may also play alongside Higuain in the next season. Blues are also planning to Ross Barkley and Marouane Fellaini. He started his career with River Plate before joining Real Madrid in 2006 – 2007 seasons. The Spanish club signed him for €13 million after the Argentine club declined their €10 million offer. Former Juventus midfielder Marco Tardelli has said that Juventus need a player like Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain in order to return to the top of the tree. However, Marco Tardelli is of the opinion that Juventus need a number of good players in order to be more competitive in the European matches. “It would take them three more signings in order to make that final leap in quality. And a striker of international class, someone like Higuain, would be very useful. Additionally, they need another midfielder of the highest level, and a good back-up for Pirlo. Andrea will need to be rested occasionally for the Champions League next year,” Tardelli said in an interview given to the Italian tabloid La Gazzetta dello Sport.
